At this year’s furniture fair in Milan, Vitra has an impressive array of new products on offer. To start with the classics: the legendary Landi Chair by Hans Coray is now being produced by Vitra. To complement the chair, a table was newly developed with the young Swiss designer Michel Charlot. With the relaunched models EA 101, 103 and 104, the Aluminium Group by Charles and Ray Eames has been expanded with a slim-profiled dining chair. And various iconic designs by Alexander Girard have been revived as re-editions. As for the contemporary products: the designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have developed a number of new products together with Vitra, as has Jasper Morrison. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Hella Jongerius also contribute to the new offerings. In addition, the latter has enriched and expanded the Vitra colour palette with numerous fresh hues.
